How Is It Green?
LP® LongLength™ OSB Sheathing helps builders reduce waste and increase efficiency without sacrificing quality. Because LP LongLength panels are designed for vertical installation, fewer panels are needed to build the same house. In addition, the product manufacturing process is environmentally friendly. We use wood certified under Sustainable Forestry Initiative® standards. That wood comes from small, fast growing trees, and the entire log is used. This means less waste and more efficient use of resources. Plus, LP LongLength panels contain no urea-formaldehyde, and we use only low-emitting, safe resins as a binder.
